Carved Signs

All aspects of woodcarving are undertaken including architectural, relief, restoration, sculpture, letter cutting, ecclesiastical, heraldic and modelling for casting.

With the addition of Robert Lewis, a Master Carver, who has joined our happy band of artisans, we can also now offer a complete design package for traditional village signs carved in relief or 3D in English Oak.

Robert's architectural projects have included:
The Globe Theatre,
Uppark House, West Sussex
Windsor Castle
Brentwood Cathedral
The Foreign Office
No.10 Downing Street

Coat of Arms - 10 Downing Street
The restoration of No. 10 Downing Street involved re-carving beautiful door architraves, overhead door surrounds, fireplaces and the 'Royal Coat of Arms' as seen in the Green State Room.

"The image above shows work in progress; the first photograph shows part of the Snettisham village sign with the rot that can work away unseen behind cracked paint work. Moving the mouse over the image displays the second photograph showing the re-carving - click the link below for the final new village sign - it is stunning!!"
